January Monthly Meeting

The January meeting will feature Cathi Marx, a RWOTH member, who has spent over 45 years as an occupational safety, risk management and security professional. She has conducted threat and risk assessments for schools, religious institutions and large industrial complexes. Her presentation on January 18 will address Situational Awareness: Taking Control of Your Personal Safety. She will cover various topics to help protect you and others including situational awareness while driving, walking, shopping, banking, staying in hotels and simply getting gas for your vehicle.

Ms Marx is a national speaker at various insurance industry conferences addressing active shooter response, workplace violence, crime prevention through environmental design and multiple technical areas in occupational safety. Her background includes an honorable discharge from the United States Coast Guard Reserves after serving 8 years in Port Safety & Security.
